Natural resources and the environment play multiple roles in the onset, escalation, resolution of, and recovery from violent conflicts. Solutions to these challenges require innovation and sustained engagement by governments, companies, civil society, and communities. An excellent resource for both policy makers and the general public, this free course provides essential information on the connection between the environment and security and, in particular, why climate change is becoming a threat multiplier.

Running from 1 March to 10 May 2018 on the SDG Academy Platform, the course is also transcribed in Spanish, French and Portuguese. Participants can enroll until 1 April.

Over 8,000 people have already signed up. Join now and encourage your partners to enroll!
